Happy New Year

We spent New Year's Eve at my neighbors house.  I really love our neighborhood, so many people are not only friendly, but truly good friends.

 7 of the 21 kids that are in 1st grade or younger on our block (one is in the photo below)!

I'm pretty sure most people don't have 21 little buddies to play with all within a couple hundred feet.

It's been a true blessing to live in this neighborhood.

The kids were all in bed by 9 PM (slept until 7:15 AM - awesome!).   This year has been a tough one but it really does teach you to be grateful for each and every day.  Praying for miracles in 2013!
