Ear Trouble

Poor little Carson is still having ear trouble.  He has been super fussy the past couple of days so this morning I checked his ears.  They still were not normal so I took him back in.  His pediatrician this they are both still full of fluid and while one is somewhat red she feels it's mainly fluid.  So, we are starting daily Claritin to clear the fluid rather than another round of antibiotics.   I am hopeful he will be able to clear it on his own quickly.  If not, I am going to ask for a hearing test and ENT referral (tube consult) sooner than we previously planned as fluid in his ears is certainly not going to help his speech delay.  Poor little guy!
