Thankfully, his other best buddy Ricky was on his team this fall. We also had the same coaches as last fall and they are great. Erik quickly decided soccer was fun again once the season started. He did a good job. He understands the concept of the game quite well. He is a really good runner and has great endurance throughout the game. He is not quite aggressive enough but that's a skill all the kids are working on still. He is a team player and doesn't seem to need to be in the spot light. He is just as thrilled if his friend/teammate scores as he is when he scores a goal.
He wants to play indoor soccer this winter so I signed him up for a month of that. We are on a break from soccer for about 6 weeks though which is nice. I really do hope all of my kids find some physical activity that they enjoy as I think it's a good way to stay healthy and make friends.
Here are some fun photos from the season...
The little boy with the orange shin guards (Ricky) is a pretty amazing athlete!
Only once all season could any other team keep up with him!
He also a really nice little boy. We are glad to be friends with his family.
He has very famous golfers in his family (Pat and Keegan Bradley) so we will see if
Ricky ends up in the hall of fame someday too.
