Kyle the Guinea Pig

I love my kiddos. This morning I asked Lainey if she wanted to change Kyle's diaper. She was very excited to try!

Tonight I asked her if she wanted to try again. This time the boys wanted to participate. These are the hilarious results...

Sweet little baby is very patient!
 Try again kiddos!
Haha!

Shockingly, no one seemed interested in changing Carson's diaper!

After Kyle had a new diaper and change of clothes the kids decided he needed a check up.

Kyle can't decide if this is boring or scary.

Erik found a second stethoscope and joined in.
Lately, all three big kids think they are going to be doctors when
they grow up (particularly Lainey).
If Erik starts acting more interested in this profession I
will cheer as he's been fairly determined he wants to be a jet pilot for the past 2 years.
I'm hoping this desire fades as I'm certain he will be eliminated as a potential candidate
the second the Navy realizes he gets motions sick on 3 mile car rides.

All of the kids love having baby Kyle in our family.
Lainey is the most enamored and can hardly keep her hands off of him.
I am not a nervous nelly about letting the kids hold him but Lainey's comfort level
with her baby-care skills are significantly higher than mine.

Below she is holding him (12 pounds to her 35 pounds) and swinging
him (gently) through the air.  She most definitely thinks she's big enough to carry him around
She knows that is not allowed.
Thankfully she hasn't broken that rule.

She is really good with him though and is already
planning out her future babysitting services.
