Lainey was very sad this morning because she touched a hot cookie sheet. I put her hands under cold water and got her an ice pack.  She was still very sad but her hands looked fine so I said, " Honey, I think you are okay now." 

She picked her head up off of my shoulder, stopped crying for a second and said, "No Mommy, I am still crying."
